Enda Kenny's first official visit to Washington
On 7th June Enda Kenny commenced his first formal visit to Washington as Fine Gael Leader, which included discussions with the US Administration and politicians regarding emigrant affairs, the ratification of the EU Constitution and trade issues. While there Deputy Kenny also called on the US Administration and Irish-American political leaders to intensify pressure on the provisional movement to end its involvement in paramilitary and criminal activity.

Pole to Pole - FG Leader to take part in 545km Charity Cycle
Enda Kenny TD will participate in a Mayo Wheelers organised cycle on the June Bank Holiday Weekend in aid of the Irish Association of Suicidology. Details of the route, from the South Pole pub in Annascaul, Kerry to the North Pole Inn in Dunfries, Buncrana, were announced on Thursday, 19 May 2005
Future Health - launch of FG Health Screening Policy
Party Health Spokesperson, Dr Liam Twomey TD launched a National Health Screening Policy on Wednesday, 18 May which would offer free health screening to all adults every five years and involve an information and education campaign on better health.
