Natural Resources, the purpose of the seminar was to provide a forum for
discussion on the subject of the carbon taxes, due to be imposed in Budget 2005,
between 30 representatives of interest groups. Atendees included representatives
of the business sector, environmental groups, those working in the area of
renewable energy and those concerned with tackling poverty.

Seminar hosted by Fergus O'Dowd TD, Fine Gael Spokesperson on Community Affairs, at the Ripley Court Hotel in Talbot Street, Dublin.
The aim of this seminar was to find real solutions to the problems caused by social disadvantage.
