Sean was elected to Ballybay Town Council in June 2009. During his time as a student in UCD, he was a Chairperson of Young Fine Gael. He was educated at Ballybay N.S., St Macartan's College, Monaghan and graduated with a BA Honours degree in Economics from UCD. Sean is a practicing Solicitor, and he owns Conlans Bar on Main Street in Ballybay. He is a member of Ballybay Economic Forum and its representative on the County Development Board. He brings a fresh and dynamic approach to politics and his priorities are job creation & investment by working with all relevant organisations to promote local industry, business, agriculture, education, and development of services at Monaghan and Cavan General Hospitals.
