Cllr Susan McCarthy

My name is Susan McCarthy and I am first and foremost a mother, and as such, am mindful of the challenges faced by families in the current economic climate. I have been involved in Community Development on a voluntary basis for the last five years in our community. Prior to that, I ran my own language school for ten years, which has given me great insight into the problems faced by small businesses since the downturn. I believe these experiences have given me the ability to be balanced and objective while being passionate about instigating reform. I can guarantee you that I will listen and act on all issues raised by you to the very best of my abilities.
