I have been very proud to continue my late father’s work here in Inishowen. With your good will and support, I would like to continue working hard for you to ensure further development of local services and amenities.
As a father, businessman and suckler farmer I have a wide understanding and knowledge of the issues affecting our community:
Defective Concrete Blocks: As an affected homeowner, I have pledged my full support to the People’s Document. I have attended protests and delegations, sponsored transport and spoken as a representative of MAG and 100% Redress in front of members of the Oireachtas. I am currently lobbying for a Taoiseach-led response to what can only be described as a humanitarian emergency.
Community Healthcare: Inadequacies in our healthcare services must be addressed, including additional-needs facilities and extra care for the elderly.
Farming & Fishing: Fair prices, less bureaucracy and the preservation of fishing grounds and livelihoods are vital to the knowledge transfer and traditions of rural Ireland.
Planning and Housing: I am a strong advocate for the delivery of rural housing which is vital to the survival of every village and town in our community.
Business & Tourism: Inishowen must get its fair share of investment and support to ensure the survival of our local businesses.
