Cllr Paddy McCartan
Paddy was re-elected to Dublin City Council for the third time in 2019, and he has been an active member of Fine Gael since 1982. On the Council, he is a member of the Traffic and Transport Committee, and is on the Board of the Royal Hospital Donnybrook. He is proud of his work completing flood alleviation works on the River Dodder, and he plans on continuing his opposition to the proposed Poolbeg Incinerator.
Paddy is a well-known local optician, who has lived and worked all his life in the Pembroke Electoral area, running a practice in Ringsend. He is a familiar figure in Pembroke, as he walks everywhere. He also enjoys swimming.
Paddy is available at all times to his constituents, and runs a constituency office from Thorncastle Street in Ringsend.
