Patricia was born and raised in Scotland. She came to live in Ireland in 1980 after meeting and marrying Irishman Michael O’’Reilly in London. She accepted Irish citizenship shortly after her arrival and has always taken a keen interest in Irish politics.
After sojourns in Fermoy, Ennis (briefly) and Limerick, they settled in Monkstown in 1990 where they brought up their three (now grown-up) children Kate, Robert and Annie. Patricia returned to college (UCD) in 1991 and trained as a psychotherapist, at which she still works. Away from politics, Patricia enjoys walking the pier, playing (terrible) golf, and summer swimming at Seapoint. She has business experience, having been co-owner with her husband of Lemonstreet Gallery in Dublin for over 10 years.
Patricia has been politically active at grassroots level since her student days in Edinburgh. She now lives in Dun Laoghaire with her husband. Patricia is happy to be contacted by phone or email on any Council matter and will do her best to help resolve problems or answer questions.
