Cllr Jim O’Leary
I am delighted to once again represent the people of Dundrum on Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, and I am honoured that they decided to put their faith in me after a 10 year absence from politics.
I am very lucky to have been able to raise my family in the beautiful surroundings of Dundrum, and I am working on the Council to make sure we retain the best of this area for our existing residents and for the increasing number of new families. In particular, I am working to ensure that the new Community and Civic Centre is delivered, that we safeguard as much of the remaining open space as possible for use by the community, and that we deliver sustainable new homes for our growing population, while respecting existing neighbourhoods. To support Council services, we need a vibrant and secure commercial base and so, I am also focused on ensuring that the County remains an attractive location for investment and that we provide sufficient supports for our local businesses.
If there are local issues you feel I can assist you with, please contact me.
