Brendan was first elected to office in 2009. He is a farmer by profession, married to Jetta and they have three children. A hard working and dependable elected representative, he served as Mayor of Kildare in 2011. He is active in the local community and is Vice-Chair of Kildare Wicklow ETB. As well as this Brendan is a keen supporter of all local sports. His priorities for his local electoral area include addressing the major housing issues that exist. He wants to see more affordable housing available to people and he is keen to create a better environment for businesses and will work to secure more favourable conditions emerge regarding commercial rates. Brendan is also looking for a major cash injection for the improvement of local rural and urban roads. He is looking forward to being a strong local voice for all.
