John Naughten

John is an experienced public representative involved with many local community and sporting organisations, ensuring he is familiar with issues of concern.

He is continuing to work to secure the ongoing investment needed, particularly in relation to roads, water & waste water treatment, to continue to attract companies to locate and invest in areas such as Monksland, creating significant local employment.

Through his work in the Council, John has been instrumental in the provision of many key local services and amenities and in securing funding which will transform our local towns and villages.

John is committed to continuing to advocate for those in need of housing grants for people with disabilities and the elderly and he will continue to campaign for investment in areas such as health, education, housing, tourism and agriculture, which play a vital role in the economic and social development of County Roscommon.
