Sinead moved to Strandhill nine years ago, and lives there with her husband – Kieran Quinn, a native of Ransboro, and their young daughter.
Orignally from a farming background, she now works as a solicitor with a strong human rights base, practicing in the areas of mental health, child care and the environment.
Having worked and studied abroad and at home, Sinead is actively involved in the community through Doctor at the Crib, Strandhill Sounds and the Donal Parsons Trust. She is also a strong supporter of Coolera Dramatic Society and the Dorrins Strand group.
Being self employed, Sinead has a keen awareness of the pressures of conducting business in challenging economic times. She sees the importance of job creation as a way to bring increasing prosperity to the people of Sligo.
