13th September 2017 - Peter Fitzpatrick TD

Some 125 new jobs are to be created in Dundalk, a Fine Gael TD has said.

Graebel Companies Inc. today announced the official opening of the company’s newly established Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Financial Shared Services and Operations Centre in Dundalk, and recruitment is already underway.

Fine Gael TD for Louth, Peter Fitzpatrick, said: “I’m delighted to welcome a company of Graebel’s calibre to Dundalk and their creation of 125 jobs for the area over the next three years is very welcome news for the town and the county as a whole.

“A key priority of this Government, through our Regional Action Plans for Jobs, is to create jobs in rural Ireland and this significant number will be transformative for Dundalk.

“Graebel’s establishment here will also greatly assist foreign direct investment (FDI) relocating to Ireland and Europe.

“Fine Gael is committed to creating a Republic of Opportunity by helping everyone to reach their full potential, by ensuring that everyone gets a fair chance, rewarding work and encouraging enterprise and ensuring that all parts of Ireland share prosperity and economic growth.”

Graebel, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, is a leading provider of workforce and workplace mobility services for Fortune 500 and Global 100 firms in 165 countries.

The EMEA Financial Shared Services and Operations Centre in Dundalk will provide a broad range of finance functions across multiple levels of experience, including general ledger, treasury and compliance, as well as customer support roles.

It also will serve as an additional operations centre in Europe to support Graebel’s EMEA headquarters in Prague, and the growing needs of Graebel’s clients in managing their international talent mobility and relocation programs.

Deputy Fitzpatrick said: “For job opportunities, please see current openings on Graebel’s website here.”
