Senator Tom Sheahan
Tom Sheahan was elected to Seanad Éireann on the Administrative Panel in April 2011.
Previously he was elected to the 30th Dáil in 2007 and was Chairperson of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on European Scrutiny.
He was appointed Deputy Spokesperson on Agriculture with Special Responsibility for Forestry in October 2010.
He previously served as Deputy Spokesperson on Agriculture with Special Responsibility for Fisheries from October 2007.
He is a married father of three and a Rathmore-based company director.
He is also a member of the Kerry Mental Health Association, Rathmore Community Council and Rathmore GAA Club.
Tom has consistently highlighted health and infrastructural issues in South Kerry.
