Marie Murphy
Marie Murphy was born and reared in Clogheen.
As a mature student she obtained an honours degree in Accounting.
She was first elected to South Tipperary County Council in June 2009.
Since then she was worked diligently as a full-time county councillor on a vast range of issues.
Her priorities include the retention of services at local hospitals, ensuring that the Housing Adaptation Grant Scheme is maintained and enhanced and the promotion of the Cahir/Clonmel Municipal District as a tourist destination.
If elected, she will use her influence as a TD to lobby for jobs and investment and provide a safe and sustainable future for communities. Marie asks you to give her your No.1 vote or next highest preference on polling day.
