Paul Connaughton TD
Paul was elected to Dáil Éireann for the constituency of Galway East on February 25th, 2011 and is a member of the Public Accounts Committee.
He was previously elected to Galway County Council in June 2009.
Before being elected, Paul was a Youth Worker with Foróige, and he has a long association with Young Fine Gael.
Paul is married to Edel and they live in Mountbellew
Paul qualified with a Marketing Degree from GMIT and also has a Certificate in Agriculture from Mountbellew Agricultural College and a H. Dip in Marketing from NUIG.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys GAA, soccer and many other sports.
