INVESTING IN BETTER SERVICES
Only a strong economy that supports people at work can pay for the services that people need. With more people at work and a growing economy, we will continue to fund sensible improvements in key public services. We will never go back to Fianna Fail’s boom and bust policies that wrecked the economy.
Our Long Term Economic Plan will generate the resources to:
- Recruit an additional 10,000 doctors, nurses, Gardaí, teachers, social workers and other frontline service professionals within a well-run and cost-effective public service.
- Invest in our health services, meet the needs of our growing and ageing population, reduce waiting lists, and fund better primary and community care.
- More measures to be announced during the General Election campaign.
