The Fine Gael Executive Council met this evening and following a recommendation from An Taoiseach and Fine Gael party leader Leo Varadkar, Deputy Maria Bailey has been removed from the Dún Laoghaire constituency ticket for the next General Election.
On recommendation from the Taoiseach, the executive council has added Councillor Jennifer Carroll MacNeill to the ticket.
Minister Mary Mitchell O’Connor along with councillors Barry Ward and Jennifer Carroll MacNeill will contest the Dún Laoghaire constituency for Fine Gael at the next General Election.
