An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar announces Seanad Spokespersons

26th January 2023 - Leo Varadkar, TD

An Taoiseach and Fine Gael President Leo Varadkar has today announced the Seanad Spokespersons for the party.

“I am very pleased to announce Fine Gael’s very strong team of Senators and their portfolios. Each Senator has proven their expertise over the past two and a half years – playing their part in protecting the squeezed middle, putting more money back in people’s pockets, building stronger safer communities across the country, delivering for rural Ireland, farmers and fishers and providing the best start possible for every child.

“These will continue to be demanding roles, but I know that Fine Gael’s Senators have already embraced this challenge. Congratulations to our Fine Gael Seanad Spokespersons on their appointments.”
