We are celebrating the 84th anniversary of the foundation of Fine Gael, and its long history in the service of this country.
Our forbears helped create the institutions of the state, and defended them when they were in jeopardy.
We were the party that declared Ireland a Republic and worked consistently for peace on this island. We ensured that Ireland played a key role in the development of the European movement and on the world stage.
We created the IDA to support industry and enterprise, and rescued the economy more than once when it was wrecked by others.
Fine Gael has always been focused on making Ireland a better place and improving the lives of her people.
