Fianna Fáil want to shaft the Northside to placate the Southside – Rock
21st January 2020 -
Fianna Fáil want to shaft the Northside to placate the Southside, a Fine Gael TD has said.
Noel Rock, Fine Gael’s General Election candidate for Dublin North West, has hit out at FF’s latest criticisms of the BusConnects plan.
Deputy Rock said: “Metro’s design is agreed and finalised. Difficult issues around Na Fianna have now been resolved and test drilling is complete.
“Now Fianna Fáil want to shaft the Northside to placate the Southside. It’s disgusting.
“We need to get Metro done, get shovels in the ground and get this project started and give the Northside the investment and infrastructure it needs and deserves.
“Fianna Fáil want to start the debate all over again, we in Fine Gael want to get it done before they try to bankrupt us again,” Deputy Rock said.
