EU-US trade deal opposed by Sinn Féin could create up to 10,000 new jobs – Farrell

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell has said today (Friday) that an EU–US trade deal could lead to the 5,000 to 10,000 new jobs in Ireland and increase Irish GDP by 1.1%, that’s an average of €1,200 per family. An independent study on a potential deal was launched today by the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD.

Cheaper loans over longer periods to boost farmers’ finances – O’Donovan

“Cheaper loans for farmers and others involved in rural development will boost farmers’ finances, assist with development of farm buildings and provide for further investment in equipment”, says Patrick O’Donovan, Fine Gael TD for Limerick. This funding has been made available as a result of a new memorandum of understanding agreed between the EU and the European Investment Bank this week.

New European E-Call device a revolution for road safety – Hayes

Murphy welcomes jobs boost for Cork

Cork based Minister for European Affairs and Data Protection, Dara Murphy, Cork North Central, (FG) TD, has welcomed today's jobs announcement, by Cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes, adding a further jobs boost for Cork, as the company plans to create 50 jobs in the city over the next 3 years.
