Dáil Question on public swimming pool for Kildare North

Dáil Question No: 33 To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the position regarding the provision of a public swimming pool for Kildare North, particularly considering the long delays to date and the recent closure of the pool at National University of Ireland Maynooth; his views that all efforts need to be made to provide sporting facilities, such as public swimming pools, to local communities to encourage a more active lifestyle; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Permanent school accommodation for new Dublin Rathdown schools

While I am sorry the Minister herself cannot be present, she spoke to me earlier and is aware of the issue, which in a nutshell is the absence of permanent sites for the four schools that are planned for what still is Dublin South, although it eventually will become Dublin Rathdown.

Hospital Waiting Lists

I agree it is a real problem that there are long waiting lists and large numbers of patients on trolleys. While this is not acceptable to any of us, it is nothing new.
