Carmel Brady

Carmel is originally from a farming family in Bunroe and now lives in Tullyvin. She is married to Seamus and has two teenage children. Carmel works as a legal secretary and having worked in Cootehill for almost thirty years, is well aware of the difficulties facing the people of the town and the surrounding area in difficult economic times. She has always been an active member of the community, holding positions on various committees in the local area including her local GAA club Kill Shamrocks, the Community Centre in Tullyvin village and in the renovation of the local church.

Carmel was elected as Leas-Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, for 2017-18.
