Ray lives in Stoneybatter with his wife, Niamh.
Ray was elected to Dublin City Council in 2009, the first Fine Gael Councillor elected in the North Inner City in twenty-four years, and was subsequently re-elected to Dublin City Council in 2014.
Ray is the Fine Gael Leader on Dublin City Council and is the Chairman of the Dublin Central Policing Committee.
He has served as Chairman of the North Inner City Area Committee, 2017 – 2018, and Chaired the Central Area Committee, 2012 – 2013.
Ray is a member of the Housing Strategic Policy Committee and the Finance Strategic Policy Committee on Dublin City Council.
Ray asks for your No.1 VOTE on May 24th to allow him continue the work he has undertaken on your behalf and that of the communities of the North Inner City.
Ray seeks a renewed mandate in order to:
- Deliver new and better housing in O’Devaney Gardens, Dominick Street, North King Street, Croke Villas, St. Mary’s Mansions
- Deliver a dedicated Local Roads Improvement Programme across the North Inner City.
- Deliver a Footpath Enhancement Scheme across the North Inner City.
- Deliver and implement a ‘Naming & Shaming’ plan to tackle illegal dumping.
