Barry Saul is a Fine Gael councillor for the Stillorgan ward in Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. Barry was a Councillor for the Stillorgan area from 2003 to 2004 and joined Fine Gael at the start of this year.
A resident of Mount Merrion for the past 30 years, Barry was educated at St. Theresa’’s National School, Mount Merrion, Oatlands College and Blackrock College. Barry is a long time campaigner for the preservation of green open spaces throughout the Stillorgan area.
He is a member of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Sports Partnership, Chairperson of Mount Merrion Youths Football Club, and member of many local clubs, including Glenalbyn and Deerpark Tennis Club. Barry is a former delegate to the Forum on Europe and is a passionate believer in Ireland’s place in the heart of Europe.
He campaigned for a Yes vote in Nice, Nice 2 and the Lisbon Treaty.
