Siobhan was co-opted as a Councillor for Castleknock, in September 2020, replacing Senator Emer Currie, following her nomination to Seanad Éireann.
Siobhan lives in Laurel Lodge and comes from a proud family tradition of community development in Donegal. She will bring the same passion and dedication to community life in the Castleknock Local Electoral Area.
Siobhan trained as a Primary School Teacher in St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, has worked as a teacher in Ballymun and Glasnevin and currently works in Cabra. She has a keen interest in education having recently gone back to complete a Masters in the area of Educational Leadership. She takes a particular interest in the Green Schools Programme, and looks forward to working on community based climate action projects.
Siobhan is very committed to working along with her colleagues in Dublin West and looks forward to continuing the great work which Senator Emer Currie has been doing since her election as a Councillor in May 2019.
