Cllr Siobhan Shovlin
My name is Siobhan Shovlin. I am proud to represent the Castleknock Local Electoral Area in Fingal County Council since September, 2020. The Castleknock Local Electoral Area represents Blanchardstown, Carpenterstown, Castleknock, Clonsilla and Lucan North.
Since joining the council in September, 2020, I have had the pleasure of getting to know/working with and helping many of the local groups within the community including Tidy Towns Groups, Sports Clubs and Residents’ Associations. Growing up, community development was a huge part of my family life and I have brought this same energy and enthusiasm to local politics since joining the council in 2020.
I live in the local area which I represent and you might see me out walking around the community in my free time. I trained as a Primary School Teacher in St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, graduating in 2011. I work as a primary school teacher in St. Francis Xavier Senior School, Roselawn.
