Brian was first elected in 2009. He is father of two young boys and is a well-known, hard-working, popular and active member of his local community. Since his election, Brian has driven the delivery of many projects in the area, including road safety measures, housing, planning and other community projects. He sits on the Joint Policing Committee, is Vice-Chairman of Dublin Regional Authority, and also sits on the Council Housing and Parks Strategy committees. Brian is an avid supporter of the local sports clubs. He has a clear vision of what he intends to deliver for his electoral area and has all the qualities that are desirable in an effective Public Representative. Energetic and dynamic, Brian is looking forward to bringing greater energy and creativity to this area. Brian’s priorities include, Improving roads, Traffic Management, Improving recreational amenities in the area & Efficient use of taxes by SDCC.

It is now vital for a strong voice to represent the Firhouse, Ballycullen and Knocklyon areas, which are now part of the Firhouse-Bohernabreena electoral area. Brian Lawlor is that voice.
