Patrick Dunphy

Pat is married to Margaret and they have 4 adult children. He has been a Member of Kilkenny County Council since June 1999, and served as Chairperson of the Council in 2013-14, and also as Chairperson of the Piltown Municipal Area and Strategic Policy Committees on a number of occasions.

Currently working for John Paul Phelan TD, and previously worked for Bausch & Lomb in Waterford as Warehouse and Logistics Manager. Pat has been involved for many years in the GAA as a member of Kilkenny County Board and currently Secretary of the County Junior Board, and previously Chairperson and Secretary of the South Kilkenny Board. He has been refereeing GAA games in Kilkenny for the past 33 years and in that period, at Inter County level for 10 years. During that time Pat refereed 6 Kilkenny County Senior Hurling Finals, 1 County Senior Football Final and 2 Carlow County Senior Hurling Finals.
