Cllr Colin Dalton
Colin contested the 2024 Local Election for Fine Gael in the Granard electoral area – and was co-opted as a Councillor.
Throughout his tenure since 2020, he has prioritised community enhancements focusing on sports facilities, safer school routes, ongoing maintenance of local roads and traffic calming measures.
His roles have included being the Cathaoirleach of Granard Municipal District, a member of several key committees including the Local Community Development Committee, Community Safety Partnership, and the Local Enterprise Board.
Colin’s commitment revolves around bolstering local businesses, supporting GAA clubs, championing community progress, facilitating youth engagement, securing funding for communities, and advocating for rural Longford and its farming community.
