Cllr Pádraig McNamara
Pádraig McNamara is a Councillor for the Granard electoral area.
He is well known to residents as the local postmaster with a lifetime of service. Throughout his career, he served in the National Executive of the Irish Postmasters Union and contributed to the National Agent Council of the National Lottery. Additionally, he completed a 6-year term on the board of An Post.
Through his work in the Post Masters Union, Padraig understands the importance of cross-party support to access funding and support community-led initiatives.
Padraig has served on local primary and secondary school boards and has been an integral part of the Granard Motte Community Enterprise CLG for over a decade. His passion for community service and track record means he knows how to get things done and the value of a community coming together for a common goal.
Padraig is committed to making Granard an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
