Gerry O’Connor

Gerry is committed to supporting and promoting the local voluntary and community sector; ensuring the provision of adequate social infrastructure like education, healthcare and sporting facilities; selling Dunshaughlin as a location for investment and employment; helping our local businesses have a voice for their enterprises; and working for safe and secure neighbourhoods and communities. The next five years will bring many opportunities and challenges to our County. It is important that Dunshaughlin, Kilmessan, Kilcloon, Culmullen, Kiltale and Killeen have a voice to represent it on Meath County Council. As a member of the Dunshaughlin Community since 1984, and as a member of Fine Gael, Gerry believes that he can serve you by being that voice.

Gerry was elected as Cathaoirleach of Meath County Council for 2017-18.
