Cllr Graham Richmond

A secondary school History teacher and resource teacher by profession, Graham brings the same commitment to education and development that defines his classroom to his work as an elected representative.
As a Councillor, Graham serves as Chair of the Housing Strategic Policy Committee, reflecting his strong focus on addressing one of the most pressing issues facing communities across County Wicklow.
He also serves on the board of the Enterprise Centre and sits on the County Wicklow Partnership, working to support local economic development and opportunity for residents across the region.
Graham’s connection to his community runs deep. A passionate rugby coach at both East Glendalough School and Wicklow Rugby Club, he has played an instrumental role in nurturing young talent and fostering team spirit in the area.
Most recently, Graham was a driving force behind the establishment of Wicklow Badminton Club, further expanding sporting opportunities for people of all ages in the district.
Beyond sport, Graham is an active and visible supporter of the many groups, clubs, and organisations that make Wicklow Town such a vibrant place to live and work. Whether in the council chamber or on the pitch, he brings energy, dedication, and a genuine passion for the people he represents.
