Fine Gael TD for Kildare South, and Chair of the Party’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, Martin Heydon, has welcomed the requirement by Minister for Communications, Alex White, for commercial operators to sign up to commitment contracts for areas where they wish to provide broadband services. Without these contracts, the areas cannot be removed from the Government High Speed Broadband Map.

Fine Gael TD for Kildare South, and Chair of Fine Gael’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, Martin Heydon, has said that Punchestown Racecourse will benefit from a significant upgrade to the value of €6.2 million.

Fine Gael TD for Kildare South, Martin Heydon, has today (Friday) welcomed the decision of An Bord Pleanála to grant permission for the proposed phase two development at Kildare Village retail outlet on the outskirts of Kildare town. The expansion of Kildare Village will result in the creation of 380 retail jobs and 120 jobs during the construction phase.

Fine Gael Kildare South TD, Martin Heydon, has today (Thursday) said that it is essential that the future of Newbridge Credit Union is safeguarded in its current building. Deputy Heydon was speaking after the Central Bank issued a statement on the issue this afternoon.
