Fine Gael Kildare South TD, and Chair of the Fine Gael Committee on Agriculture, Martin Heydon, has welcomed the extension of the milk price intervention deadline, a move that will be welcomed by Kildare dairy farmers, but says that more can be done on prices paid and volumes eligible.
