Fine Gael selects Deputy Frank Feighan to contest Sligo-Leitrim constituency in General Election

Deputy Frank Feighan TD has been selected by Fine Gael to represent the party in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency at the next General Election.
Party members selected Deputy Frank Feighan tonight (Sunday) in a convention held in the Clayton Hotel Sligo which was chaired by Minister Peter Burke TD.
Fine Gael have now chosen 34 General Election candidates in 22 constituencies.
Deputy Frank Feighan said, “I am honoured to have been selected to represent Fine Gael in Sligo-Leitrim.
“With many years of political experience and having served as a Minister of State during this term, I believe I have the experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm to represent the people of Sligo-Leitrim as their TD.
“Fine Gael is dedicated to fostering a fair and compassionate society, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship and supporting local businesses. I am committed to advocating for our community on these crucial issues.
“My proven track record in addressing community concerns demonstrates my dedication to finding practical solutions. I pledge to work tirelessly to meet the challenges we face.
“I look forward to engaging with residents across Sligo-Leitrim to ask them for their number one vote.”
