Meeting to discuss the “Future of Farming”- Collins

Fine Gael TD for Cork North West, Áine Collins, has announced a public meeting entitled “The Future of Farming”, to be held in Millstreet, Cork on Thursday, 30th April. The meeting will take place in the Wallis Arms Hotel at 8pm.
“I encourage Cork farmers to attend this public meeting and I am delighted that the Minister for Agriculture, Simon Coveney will join us on the night.
“The meeting will discuss the future of farming and the Minister will lay out his plans for the Irish agriculture sector. I look forward to a constructive discussion for all concerned.
“This is a really important time for Irish farming. The dairy sector, so crucial to the Cork agriculture sector, is on the cusp of major expansion now that the quotas have been lifted. Now is the time for Irish farmers to capitalise on growth in the sector and I hope this meeting will help them prepare for the opportunities to come their way.”
