Noel Coonan TD
Noel Coonan TD was elected to the 31st Dáil in February 2011. Noel has been given the role of Vice Chairperson of the Oireachtas Committee on Environment, Culture and the Gaeltacht.
In the previous 30th Dáil, Noel was Fine Gael’s Deputy Spokesperson on Agriculture with Special Responsibility for Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Reform.
Noel is President of the Collins22 Society and is deeply involved in extending the influence of Michael Collins by promoting his life, his workings and his ethos which he bestowed on the Irish people.
Noel was elected to Seanad Éireann (Cultural and Educational Panel) in July 2002. He was Fine Gael’s Spokesperson on Agriculture and Food in the Upper House.
