Tom Neville
Tom Neville was co-opted to Limerick County Council in 2003 replacing his father former TD Dan Neville. He was county poll topper on his first attempt in the 2004 local election with 25% of the first preference vote. Opting not to stand in the 2009 local election Tom emigrated to Australia for 4 years due to the lack of work in his field due to the economic collapse. Returning he was again elected on the first count in the 2014 local elections and subsequently elected to Dail Eireann for Limerick County on his first attempt in 2016. He was elected by the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party as one of their representatives on the Fine Gael Executive Council. Tom is appointed to the Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation committee along with the cross party committee on Mental Health.

Tom brings broad career experiences gained before his election to Dail Eireann in 2016. Starting out as a secondary school teacher he has worked in IT Sales, Recruitment in IT/Technical Engineering/Digital Marketing/Accounting and Media. His career has seen him work in Ireland, UK and Australia where he gained knowledge and experience of Asian economies.
Tom is a keen actor having trained professionally in Sydney, is a former techno dj and an avid Liverpool fan. He is a member of Shoutrade Soccer Club, Rathkeale Boxing Club, Cappagh GAA club and is a director of Kilfinny Community Childcare.
“My aim is to deliver as service that is Reliable Realistic and Approachable. My main priorities are the enhancement of Mental Health Services, delivery of more jobs and the promotion of the Arts. All of this is encompassed with the continued development of our Agriculture and rejuvenation of Rural Ireland.”
