Cllr Seán McDermott

Sean has been involved in many Community Voluntary Groups in County Leitrim for many years and he has been Chairperson of Glenfarne Development for almost 20 years. The group has been responsible for the re-development of The Ballroom of Romance.  Sean was a committee member of The 1916 Celebrations in Leitrim and has recently been selected as Chairperson of Leitrim’s Heritage Forum and is working tirelessly to develop the tourism strengths in North Leitrim and also the preservation of the environment, the upgrading of our telecommunications, road infrastructure and the survival of rural farming communities.
