Meet Andrea Christopher-Rea, a fresh voice within Fine Gael and a local election candidate for Cork City South West. As a young mother and a scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, Andrea brings a unique perspective to the table. She is a graduate of UCC and Aberdeen University.
In 2020, Andrea and her husband chose Lehenaghmore as their home, and since then, they’ve welcomed two children, further enriching their blended family.
Andrea’s passion lies in supporting families, particularly those facing disabilities. As a dedicated basketball coach, she actively fosters youth involvement in sports. But her commitment doesn’t end there. Andrea wants to engage with community groups, listen to your concerns, and hear how Cork City Council services and facilities can be improved for you and your families.
With your support, Andrea hopes to work at the coal face of public life as a committed local Councillor.
