Eoghan Dockrell
Eoghan is living and working in the Fingal West constituency as an assistant to local Senator Regina Doherty and is the Fine Gael candidate in the Rush – Lusk local electoral area for the 2024 Local Elections.
Before working with Senator Doherty, Eoghan worked as a tax consultant for several years and prior to that, he worked as a Revenue auditor in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners.
Eoghan is running in next year’s local elections as he wants to:
- Ensure that there is a sustainable approach to the planning of our communities,
- Fight for a greater allocation of funding for social and sporting amenities in the area,
- Advocate for better public transport options, particularly in rural areas that are currently underserviced,
- Promote sustainable measures to protect our environment while supporting the struggling agricultural sector,
- Tackle anti-social behaviour in our towns so everyone can feel safe in their community.
In summary, Eoghan wants to be an effective, responsive voice in dealing with issues that matter most to our communities.
