Emma Griffin
I am a first-time local election candidate, and I grew up in Lucan. After studying marketing at DIT, I worked for several years in Dublin & Galway. I moved to Germany for a few years where I worked as a kindergarten teacher. But my heart was always at home, and I’ve since settled back in Lucan with my three children and currently work at Trinity College.
One of my key drives over the last few years has been fighting for better services for children within the local community. I am also a member of the Mental Health Reform Grassroots Forum.
Fundraising for local charities has always been a major passion of mine & have held events to raise money for MS Ireland, Pieta House & Daffodil Day.
If I am privileged enough to become your local councillor, I will work to ensure we have sufficient infrastructure and supports so our community can thrive.
