Sinéad Donnelly – I will make a difference with your help!

Sinead lives in Tralee town, and has worked in the Shanakill Family Resource Centre as a Community Development Worker for the last 15 years.  She has a wealth of experience responding to the direct needs of individuals, families, and local groups on the ground.  Sinéad lives with her partner Anthony and her daughter, Laura, is a Nurse in Edinburgh, Scotland.  She holds a Degree in Community Studies from MTU in Tralee.

Sinéad is also a member of a visiting conference for St. Vincent de Paul in Tralee town and visits people on a weekly basis who are affected by poverty, cost of living and other related issues.  She is proud to come from a family dedicated to Public Service and wishes to give back locally. She is local and has the time, energy and commitment to represent the people of Tralee.

Her priorities if elected are:

  • To help individuals and families dealing with a wide range of struggles such as isolation, poverty and violence to find realistic and suitable solutions.
  • Encourage pathways to Further Education & Training.
  • Respond to the housing crisis.
  • Making her hometown a place where people are safe to go about their daily lives.

Sinéad comes from a tradition of hard work and is committed to serving her local community.  If elected, she will work hard to make Tralee a safer place for to live, work and raise future generations.
