Richard Delaney
Richard Delaney is a Fine Gael local election candidate in Limerick City North. He is a father of three and has been living in Limerick’s Northside for many years. Richard started Parkside School of Motoring (and Minibus Hire) thirty years ago and has since taught driving lessons to many local residents, young and old.
Community is important to Richard, and he has volunteered in the St. Vincent de Paul, An Óige, and the Credit Union movement. He also works as a part-time adult literacy tutor following his return to education as a mature student.
Richard is passionate about making the community a great place to live, work, and raise your family. He is looking forward to meeting the residents over the next couple of months and hearing their ideas as to how the City Council can improve services.
Richard’s priorities for Limerick City North include:
- Improving the local traffic management system.
- The provision of sustainable housing.
- Campaigning for an increase in local leisure facilities.
- Ensuring that the area is a stronger and safer community.
