Keira Keogh

Keira Keogh, a self employed behaviour consultant in the Westport Local Electoral Area of County Mayo is poised to bring seventeen years of invaluable experience working with neurodivergent children to the role of county councillor. Empowering and advocating for children, their parents and educators has paved the way for Keira to be a strong voice for her constituents.

A native of Westport, Keira grew up at the Quay helping out at The Helm, the family business.

Across 10 years in Junior Chamber International (JCI), Keira immersed herself in leadership development and community impact, including recently serving on the international board of directors as JCI Vice President in 2022.

Passionate about community involvement, Keira has volunteered for organisations such as the MayoSPCA & recently fundraised over €2,000 for the Little Princess Trust by donating 12 inches of hair. In 2023 she thoroughly enjoyed working with the Westport Seniors Ladies Gaelic team.

In her spare time, Keira enjoys walking her dog, swimming, learning piano and spending time with her family and friends. If elected she promises to offer a strong voice and fresh perspective to Mayo County Council.
