Seamus McGee

I’m Seamus McGee. I’m a part time farmer from Crossakiel in North Meath . I work fulltime in Sales and the rest of the time I’m a community campaigner. I have spent my lifetime working with people in North Meath to help deliver:

• Sports Capital Funding to provide better club facilities
• LEADER funding for local enterprises and community groupsCommunity Enhancement Programme funding for groups to enhance their facilities
• CLÁR funding for small-scale infrastructural projects in rural areas
• Town and Village Renewal funding to revitalise and regenerate our rural towns and villages

As a member of Ballinlough GFC I helped secure over €900,000 to develop the club grounds. I was Meath IFA Chairman for five years. I am currently Vice Chair of the Meath LAG overseeing Leader funding rollout.
