Luba Healy
Lyubov (Luba) Healy, a Fine Gael local election candidate in Trim, brings a wealth of experience and a heart full of passion to our community.
Originally from Ukraine, Luba’s upbringing on a farm instilled in her the values of hard work and strong community bonds. For 24 years, she has proudly called Trim home, where she met and married her husband, Eugene Healy. Together, they are raising three school-going children, and their future, along with that of all young families, is at the forefront of Luba’s mind.
As a Production Manager at Trimfold Envelopes, Luba has gained valuable insights into the challenges facing local enterprise and is committed to supporting a thriving business community in Trim.
But Luba’s dedication extends beyond our borders. She has co-ordinated fundraising efforts to support the people of Ukraine during these challenging times of war. In 2022, she personally travelled to Ukraine, bringing her 72-year-old mother and 101-year-old grandmother back to Ireland—a journey that touched her heart deeply.
Now, Luba aims to give back to the country that welcomed her. She wants to hear from the people of Trim about how the local County Council can improve its services and facilities, to build a brighter future for Trim.
