Hugh Egan
Hughie Egan is a Dairy Farmer from Doon and is married with three adult Children.
He has track record of committed community involvement for many years with Doon GAA, Offaly Sports Partnership, Rashina/Kilnagarna Group Water Scheme, and is currently a member of the West Offaly Dairy Discussion Group. Since 2019 he is on the Audit and Risk Committee with the LOETB.

Hughie’s priorities:
• Maximise investment in local road infrastructure.
• Promote awareness and supports available to foster positive mental health in our young people.
• Promote and support job creation in West and South Offaly, and support SMEs.
• Beat the can for Farmers on issues relevant to them, their families and communities and give Farmers’ side of things.
• Work with community groups to ensure that Offaly County Council maximises funding from Central Government.
