Marie Murphy
Born and reared in Clogheen, as a mature student I got an honours degree in Accounting. I was first elected to South Tipperary County Council in June 2009.
Thank you for giving me the mandate to represent and work for you since then. I believe I dealt with representations professionally and confidentially. During that time I have worked diligently as a full time county councillor on a vast range of issues.
PRIORITIES include: Retention of Services at Local Hospitals. Ensuring that the Housing Adaptation Grant Scheme is maintained and enhanced. Continue my campaign against Pylons blighting our Landscape. Tourism – promotion of the Cahir/Clonmel Municipal District as a package.
