Cork to benefit from global tourism campaign – Buttimer

Fine Gael TD for Cork South Central, Jerry Buttimer, has said that tourism in Cork will benefit from Tourism Ireland’s autumn marketing campaign. Deputy Buttimer was commenting following the announcement of €12 million promotional campaign, launched by Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Paschal Donohoe, TD.

Funding to enhance tourists’ experience at Blackrock Castle – Buttimer

Fine Gael TD for Cork South Central, Jerry Buttimer, has said that €160,000 in funding for Blackrock Castle will enhance the experience for tourists and visitors. Deputy Buttimer was commenting following the announcement of €1.2 million in funding for capital projects in Ireland’s Ancient East by Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Paschal Donohoe TD.

Fine Gael TD for Cork South Central, Jerry Buttimer, has said that today’s behaviour by Mary Lou McDonald in Dáil Éireann is a stunt which is directly designed to deflect attention away from the Party’s treatment of abuse victims. Deputy McDonald’s actions have resulted in the Dáil being suspended for the day.

Fine Gael looking forward to Dublin Pride

Chairman of Fine Gael’s LGBT Group, Jerry Buttimer TD, has today (Friday) said the Group is looking forward to a bumper turnout for this year’s Dublin Pride Parade, which takes place tomorrow. The Minister for Justice, Frances Fitzgerald TD, will join other TDs and Senators, Party members, and Young Fine Gael who are all coming out in support of the LGBT community.
